Antibes, France is located on the southern coast of France, on the Mediterranean, between Nice and Canes in the Côte d'Azur.  Antibes is best known as the Rose Capital of Europe and the home of the largest yachts in the world, as well as the Cap D'Antibes with some of the most expensive real estate in the Rivera.  Antibes is also a cultural hub of the  Côte d'Azur with the summer Jazz à Juan Festival.  Picasso and Monet have both spent periods of their life in Antibes painting.  There is a world famous Picasso Musem and artist Raymond Peynet museum.

With population, climate, and socio-economic backgrounds being similar to Newport Beach, Anitbes has been the perfect pairing over the years since we became Sister Cities.  Over the course of our sisterhood we have hosted numerous student exchanges, a basketball tournament with youth from Antibes, and have had a Newport Beach artist serve as artist in resident in Antibes.

We are so pleased to have made so many wonderful connections over the years with the Antibes Jumelages, The "Twining" Cities Association.  For more information on Antibes please visit their Tourism Website.
